Almost 2 months ago, my mum's office hired a accounts person to handle
the accounts, so my mum could have some burden off her work. She even
went for some training in the office itself before she started work
proper. My mum had to hand over all the accounts stuff to her. So when
she did so, she told her to be sure to balance out the accounts herself
before doing the checks and stuff.
Two over weeks ago 2 checks bounced, ammounting to a large amount of
money. Then another 2 bounced. The accounting girl was on MC so all the
firing came upon my mum. They screamed at her and ridiculed her ability
to work, before they said things that would be interpreted as you know
we can ask you to leave. My mum was so pissed because it was not her
fault.
So now that weeks have passed, this is the current status:
- The other girl didn't get any blame at all
- My mum got a lot more scolding
- The CEO have threatened to take $100 off her monthly salary for her mistake
- The HR department calls and informed her her salary would be adjusted by an amount of $600
I don't know about you, but this sure sounds wrong. Firstly, there is
no evidence that she made a mistake. Secondly, I've never seen them
reward my mum for the many hours of OT she's put in, and for the
flawless job she did in the accounts before that other girl came in.
It's just so unfair. She's like so unhappy. This is the kinda company
where the CEO goes I-AM-THE-FUCKING-BOSS-SO-U-LISTEN-TO-ME. crap. My
mum is about to resign.
So, once again my dear friends, if you know of any jobs that have
openings please let me know okay? She is a very talented, hardworking,
self-motivated and capable woman who is excellent at managing
everything in the office. She's also very creative and good at design.
Fuck you cb bosses of that fucked up company.

Thanks for coming by and oh dear your poor mom ! Older workers seem to get much of the flak and easily targetted, it's our work culture here where the young are viewed as the more energetic, more dynamic. If I started a small business, I would put my money on the older workers for their experience and loyalty.
